Vueling A320 Returns To Tenerife After Landing Gear Malfunction

TENERIFE, 28 JAN | A Vueling Airbus A320-200 has returned back to Tenerife-South Airport following problems with retracting the landing gear. The incident occured today on flight VY1814 from Tenerife South to Copenhagen.

After its departure, the aircraft's landing gear could not retract. The aircraft then circled the airport to burn fuel and landed safely 2 hours later.

The aircraft on the flight was EC-JGM, a 18-year-old Airbus A320-200 delivered in April 2005.
