BREAKING | UTair Flight 390 Returns Back to Kaliningrad after Squawking 7700


LITHUANIA, 9 MARCH 2022 | A UTair Boeing 737-800 diverts back to Kaliningrad , Lithuania, following a Squawk 7700 (Emergency Onboard).

At 12.40pm UTC on Wednesday, the pilots reported a Squawk 7700 code and began to divert back to Kaliningrad.

The aircraft, with registration VQ-BDR, is a 12.5 years old Boeing 737-800 and was previously owned by GOL before being transferred to UTair in 2021. At the time of the incident, the aircraft was operating UT390, from Kaliningrad to Moscow.

The reason for this incident is currently unknown, and we will let you know if there are further developments. The aircraft has landed safely in Kaliningrad.
