SINGAPORE, 24 APRIL | TUI has confirmed it will launch charter flights from Birmingham, London-Gatwick and Manchester to the city-state of Singapore from December 2023 onwards. The route will be operated by the airline's fleet of Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The airline is no stranger to the Asian continent though, as it currently operates a wide variety of services from Europe to Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket.

From 13 December, the Birmingham to Singapore route will launch once weekly, with TOM426 departing Birmingham at 2.35pm, landing in Singapore at 12pm the following day. The return leg, TOM427, will depart Singapore at 3pm, landing in Birmingham at 9.40pm the same day. This route is rather interesting as it has never been operated before, as there is very minimal demand.

On the same day, TUI will begin their London-Gatwick to Singapore service once weekly. The outbound leg, TOM58 will depart Gatwick at 5.35pm, landing in Singapore at 2.50pm the following day. After that, the inbound leg, TOM59 will depart Singapore at 5.50pm, landing at 12.25am the next day. As of now, there are no operators on the route. However, in the past, Scoot used to operate this service via Bangkok, and Norwegian used to provide direct flights, which resulted in drastic decreases in ticket prices on the Singapore- London Heathrow sector.

The next day, the airline will begin the Manchester to Singapore service, once weekly. TOM164 will depart Manchester at 3pm, landing in Singapore at 12.25pm the following day. The inbound service, TOM165 will depart Singapore at 3.25pm, landing at 11.15pm in Manchester the same day.
