TUI Flight X32148 Declares Emergency, Diverting to Madrid

December 2, 2022

MADRID, 2 DECEMBER | A TUI flight from Hannover to Fuerteventura has declared an emergency (Squawk 7700) east of Bilbao, and began a descent to Madrid from 35,000ft.

Flight X32148 was operated by D-ATUF, a 16.7-year-old Boeing 737-800. It is suspected that the cause of the diversion is due to a medical emergency, or an urgent technical fault.
