SINGAPORE/JAKARTA, 12 NOV | Garuda Indonesia and Singapore Airlines will boost flight frequencies between Jakarta, Indonesia, and Singapore by the end of the year, increasing capacity and enhancing connectivity between the two South East Asian hubs.
From 1 December 2024, Garuda Indonesia will mount a daily service (GA825 and
GA824, as well as GA839 and GA838) between Jakarta and Singapore. This will
bring the total number of direct services between Jakarta and Singapore to six-times
daily, up from the current four-times daily service.
From 22 November 2024, SIA will mount two additional daily services (SQ952 and
SQ955, as well as SQ960 and SQ961) between Singapore and Jakarta. This will bring
the total number of direct services between Singapore and Jakarta to eight-times
daily, up from the current six-times daily direct service.
The airlines currently codeshare on flights between Singapore and four Indonesian cities (Denpasar, Jakarta, Medan, and Surabaya), as well as routes between Singapore and London Heathrow and Mumbai. By 1 December 2024, the carriers will operate 390 weekly codeshare services, including 362 between Singapore and Indonesia.
In the first quarter of 2025, Garuda Indonesia and Singapore Airlines will also deepen their frequent flyer programme partnership by allowing GarudaMiles and KrisFlyer members to earn and redeem miles on codeshare routes.
