SINGAPORE, 3 NOV | You heard it first on Planeopedia.com - Scoot is to announce an all new service from Singapore (SIN) to Minangkabau (PDG) in the coming days. Leaked in a recent Scoot e-magazine, it has hence been seemingly confirmed in a clarification email we have made to the airline, with a response of"We seek your patience in waiting for the official announcement soon.".

The pages in the e-magazine regarding the new Indonesian destination has since been removed.
According to the magazine, the airline will operate 4x weekly with their fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft or their brand-new Embraer E190s. The flight time will last slightly over an hour, the 11th Indonesian destination for the airline. It will also be the 2nd international destination from PDG, besides Kuala Lumpur (KUL)
