Scoot Launches Flights to Balikpapan

Today, Scoot has launched flights from Singapore (SIN) to Balikpapan, Indonesia (BPN). This comes just a month after the airline began flights to 4 more destinations in Indonesia as travel restrictions ease. The route will be operated by the airline's fleet of Airbus A320s twice weekly from 29 March 2023.

The last time this route was operated was by SilkAir in March 2020, prior to its merger with Singapore Airlines.

The route schedule is as follows:

TR222 SIN0755 to 1025BPN A320
TR222 SIN1415 to 1635BPN A320

TR223 BPN1115 to 1335SIN A320
TR223 BPN1720 to 1945SIN A320

Tickets should go online soon, subject to government approval of the route.
