Qatar Airways to Begin Boeing 737 Max Flights in May

DOHA, 29 APRIL | World's best airline, Qatar Airways is set to begin Boeing 737 MAX operations on May 15th. The Qatari carrier recently took delivery of their first MAX aircraft on April 13th, and is gearing up to begin operations

The airline's first Boeing 737 MAX 8, A7-BSC will enter service on Qatar's QR1054 Doha (DOH) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) route on May 15th. The short 1h 10 minute flight is currently operated by the airline's fleet of Airbus narrowbodies.

While the airline has agreed to take up a few extra Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft which could not be delivered to their original customers due to sanctions, the airline also has an order for up to 50 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft.
