MUSCAT, 17 NOV | According to source AeroRoutes, Muscat-based carrier, Oman Air is all set to make its return to the island-nation of Singapore after 8 years, following a preliminary schedule filing. The route was last operated in May 2017.
Subject to further changes, an all new one daily service from Muscat (MCT) to Singapore (SIN) will launch on 1 September 2025 with Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This aircraft operates in a three class configuration with 8 First Class suite seats, 24 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class, fitted with IFE screens.
With the airline joining Oneworld alliance next year, passengers will be able to seamlessly connect onto Qantas' services to Australia via Singapore, namely Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Darwin. This bridges Oman to the Australian market further as the airline currently does not offer direct flights.
Flight Schedule:
WY861 MCT 2135 – 0810 SIN(+1)
WY862 SIN 0925 – 1210 MCT
