Jetstar Takes Delivery of 2 Airbus A321neos

December 25, 2022

MELBOURNE, 25 DECEMBER | Australian low-cost carrier, Jetstar, has received 2 brand-new Airbus A321neos today, just in time for Christmas morning! The airframes, VH-OFP and VH-OFQ flew in from Airbus's factory in Hamburg via Bengaluru and Perth to their final destination- Melbourne.

As of now, the airline has 4 A321neos in their fleet, with up to 18 expected to join the fleet by mid-2024. These highly fuel-efficient, longer-range aircraft enable Jetstar to provide more capacity and more low fares to more destinations, such as the airline's new Sydney to Rarotonga route launching next summer. The airline's A321neos also feature wider seats, larger overhead bins, USB charging and quieter engines.

In the next few weeks, Jetstar is expected to take delivery of another A321neo (VH-OFS), which is currently undergoing flight testing.
