BOSTON, 10 DEC | American carrier, JetBlue is all set to launch 2 new transatlantic services from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) next summer with direct services to Madrid (MAD) and Edinburgh (EDI) starting May 22nd.
Flights to Madrid will be operated by the carrier's fleet of Airbus A321LR aircraft with in-flight entertainment screens on all seats. The outbound service B62261 departs BOS at 10.25pm, arriving in MAD the following day at 11.30am. The inbound service B62260 later departs MAD at 1.30pm, arriving in BOS at 3.20pm the same day. Iberia is the only other operator on the route, flying the world's first Airbus A321XLR on the route.
Services to Edinburgh will be operated by the carrier's older A321ceos, 1x daily. The outbound service B61079 departs BOS at 10.30pm, arriving in EDI at 10.10am the following day. The inbound service B61080 later departs EDI at 12.10pm, arriving back in BOS at 2.22pm. Delta Airlines is currently the only other operator on the route.
