Iberia Launches Madrid-Edinburgh Route

Today, Iberia Express has announced the launch of a brand-new route from their hub in Madrid to Edinburgh. This new route is summer seasonal, and will begin on 18 June 2023, and end on 14 September 2023.

It will operate 2x weekly every Thursday and Sunday morning, with an Airbus A321neo. The flight lasts approximately 2 Hours and 50 Minutes. The aircraft will feature 28in legroom and in-seat power. Wifi and entertainment is available for a fee. The flight schedule is as follows:

I2 3690 MAD 0525-0815 EDI A321N
I2 3691 EDI 0855-1155 MAD A321N

Besides Iberia Express, Ryanair and Easyjet operate on this route. However, surprisingly, Iberia is offering the cheapest one-way tickets for this routes, costing only 36 euros, compared to the 89 euros by Easyjet.
