FlyDubai Orders First Widebody Aircraft

DUBAI AIRSHOW DAY 1 | November 13, 2023

DUBAI AIRSHOW (Day 1), 13 NOV | FlyDubai has announced an order for 30 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, marking their first ever widebody aircraft order.

The Dubai-based carrier currently has over 80 aircraft, consisting of the Boeing 737-800NG, 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9 jets. This dreamliner order is a significant milestone in the airline's history as they have only operated single-aisle aircraft to date. This will allow the airline to expand further to major international destinations worldwide, with a central hub in Dubai.
