Interesting Flight: Emirates A380 Flies to Toulouse

TOULOUSE, 4 DECEMBER | An Emirates Airbus A380 has departed Dubai and is en-route for the Airbus factory in Toulouse. The flight is quite interesting as Emirates does not operate any flights to Toulouse. However, this flight seems to be a maintenance flight, not a commercial flight as it is heading to the Airbus factory.

The aircraft heading there is A6-EDQ, a 11.6-year-old Airbus A380, one of the oldest in their fleet. While many airlines have retired the A380 prematurely, at around 11 years old, Emirates has decided to keep their Airbus A380 for at least a decade more.
