Condor to Retire the Airbus A330-200 in Early-2024

FRANKFURT, 10 JAN | German leisure carrier, Condor, has announced the retirement date of their Airbus A330-200 aircraft, according to OAG data and AeroRoutes. The airline will operate the type till January 2024, and retire it in favour of their new fleet of Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.

As of January 2023, Condor has 4 Airbus A330-200s with an average age of 15 years, after 5 of them left the fleet earlier this year, according to planespotters.net data. Last month, the airline began taking deliveries of its replacement- the Airbus A330neo.

From now till their retirement next year, the aging fleet of aircraft will fly from their base in Frankfurt to Cancun, Holguin, New York- JFK, Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, and Toronto.

The airline's last scheduled flight for the type will be on 8 January 2024 to Toronto.
