Citilink Performs Inaugural Flight From Surabaya to Singapore

November 4, 2022

Today, Gaurda Indonesia subsidiary, Citilink, performed their Inaugural flight from Surabaya Juanda International Airport to Singapore Changi International Airport (Terminal 3). This is the second route that the airline operates to Singapore, following the launch of Jakarta- Singapore earlier last month.

The aircraft that is operating the first service is PK-GQN, a 6.6-year-old Airbus A320-200, delivered to the airline in May 2016.

The route is operated 1x daily, as follows:

QG510 SUB 0925 - 1245 SIN Airbus A320
QG511 SIN 1410 - 1535 SUB Airbus A320

However, Citilink is not the only operator on this route - Scoot, Singapore Airlines, Jetstar Asia and Batik Air also operates this service. In previous years, Silk Air and AirAsia Indonesia used to operate it too. Silk Air stopped its operations on this route as they merged with Singapore Airlines and AirAsia suspended it following the fatal crash of Flight 8501 on this very route.
