A Neo is born: Cebu Pacific receives first A330neo


Today, Philippine airline, Cebu Pacific, took delivery of its first Airbus A330neo as it begins its widebody fleet modernisation programme. This is the first of 16 Airbus A330neos due to be delivered to the airline

The new aircraft is F-WWKP (Manufacturer Test Registration), a brand-new Airbus A330neo. The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce's latest-generation Trent 7000 engines and features a new composite wing with increased span for enhanced aerodynamics, bringing a step change in efficiency, consuming 25% less fuel than previous generation aircraft and a similar reduction in CO2 emissions.

This new A330neo fleet is set to be configured with 459 seats in a single-class layout and will fly on routes within the Philippines, selected countries in Asia & the Middle East, as well as services to Australia.
