British Airways to Add the Club Suite to its Boeing 787-8s

January 10, 2023

LONDON, 10 JAN | 5 years ago, British Airways announced an all-new Business Class product- the Club Suites. This seat gives each passenger a fully flat bed, direct aisle access, and a privacy door, and has been slowly introduced to the British Airways fleet following delays due to COVID-19.

To date, only the Airbus A350-1000, Boeing 787-10 and Boeing 777 variants have these Club Suites.

However, British Airways announced today that they will be introducing this Club Suites product on their Boeing 787-8 aircraft by the end of this year. The new configuration will be 31 in Club Suites, 37 in Premium Economy, and 136 in Economy, compared to the 35 in Club World, 25 in Premium Economy, and 154 in Economy in its previous layout.

This newly-retrofitted version of the Boeing 787-8 will enter into service on 30 October, on flights to Baltimore.
