December 3, 2022

GRAN CANARIA, 2 DECEMBER | Canarian airline, Binter Canarias, has ordered 5 new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft in a deal worth 389 million dollars. These new aircraft are expected to be delivered between November 2023 and April 2024.

Binter Canarias was the first to operate the type in Europe when they first received it in 2019. To date, the airline currently operates 5 of them, to medium-haul destinations in Italy, France and Morocco.

The E195-E2 is the largest and most modern aircraft in the E-Jet E2 family of medium-range twin-engine commercial jets, and they have been ordered by Binter in the same special 132-seat, single-class configuration that allows comfortable distance between passengers.
