GRAN CANARIA/LAS PALMAS, 31 OCT | Carrier of the Canary Islands, Binter Canarias has announced recently that they will be commencing flights from their bases in Gran Canaria and Tenerife (North) to Madrid-Barajas Airport, 4x daily from 1 February 2024. These routes will be operated by the airline's newest Embraer E195-E2 jets.
The Gran Canaria (LPA) to Madrid (MAD) route will be operated as follows:

NT6005 MAD 2000 to 2150 LPA

The Tenerife-Norte (TFN) to Madrid (MAD) route will be operated as follows:

These routes are also met with fierce competition from Ryanair, Swiftair, Air Europa and Iberia- except for the Tenerife North service with no competition at all, since most major carriers opt for operation to Tenerife South Airport instead. Nonetheless, with Binter Canarias' intense total 8x daily frequency from the Canary Islands to Madrid, it is without the doubt that the airline will dominate the sector.
