Berlin Airport Strike To Result In Major Disruptions

April 23, 2023

BERLIN, 23 APRIL | Tomorrow, Berlin's Brandenburg Airport air security staff will be going on strike from 3.30am local time to midnight. As a result, ALL departures and arrivals to the airport have been cancelled, resulting in thousands of passengers stranded.

This strike follows other walkouts at Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne-Bonn and Stuttgart recently, and is expected to be the largest strike of them all- affecting around 100 flights. The final departure before the strike will be the 10.55pm easyJet service from London-Luton on Sunday.
