Batik Air to Launch Flights From Makassar to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore

Indonesian budget airline, Batik Air has launched 2 new international destinations from Makassar- Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Both of the routes are set to launch in early December 2022, and will be operated by an Airbus A320.

On 10 December 2022, the airline will launch the Makassar to Kuala Lumpur route, which will operate 3x weekly. Currently, only Airasia operates the route. The route will operate as follows:

ID7290 UPG1055 to 1400KUL A320
ID7291 KUL1450 to 1800UPG A320

One day later, on 11 December, the airline will launch a route from Makassar to Singapore, which will operate 4x weekly. This comes just 1 month after Singapore Airlines subsidiary, Scoot launched the route. The route will commence as follows:

ID7294 UPG1145 to 1430SIN A320
ID7295 SIN1530 to 1835UPG A320
