British Airways Launches 4 New European Routes

LONDON, 2 AUG | British Airways today has announced 4 new European routes from their hub in London Heathrow (LHR). From Winter 2023 onwards, the airline will operate flights to Cologne, Turin, Belgrade and Riga from Britain's Busiest Airport.

Firstly, services from LHR to Riga will begin on 29 October 2023. The route will be operated as BA880 and BA881, 3x weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. As of now, there are no other competitors on this route.

The following day, multiple daily flights will begin operation from LHR to Cologne, by the airline's fleet of A320 aircraft. The only operator on this route to date is Eurowings.

Similarly, the next day, Belgrade flights will begin, as BA888 and BA889, operating every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. AirSerbia and Lufthansa currently operate this sector.

Lastly, on 10 December, Turin services will start, as BA536 and BA537 every Sunday. There are no other operators on this route.
