ANA's Final Airbus A380 to Re-enter Service

April 23, 2023

TOKYO, 23 APRIL | Youngest Airbus A380 operator, All-Nippon Airways (ANA) is slated to re-enter their 3rd and final Airbus A380 aircraft back into commercial service in coming weeks. The aircraft in question, JA383A, named "Ka La", is 3.5 years old and has never flown a commercial flight due to its delivery in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The aircraft today has been spotted performing a 1.5 hour test flight near Tokyo's Narita Airport, signalling a return back into service. The final A380 is set to join JA382A and JA381A with its services between Tokyo and Honolulu in a matter of weeks.
