India's Akasa Air Announces New Destination

GOA, 25 DECEMBER | India's newest airline, Akasa Air will begin flights early next year to their 12th destination- Goa.

From 11 January next year, the airline will begin flights from Bengaluru to Goa's brand-new Manohar International Airport (MOPA) twice daily, later increasing to 3x daily from 1 February onwards. The airline will also launch flights between Mumbai and Goa the following day, 6x weekly.

Both of these routes will be operated by the airline's brand-new fleet of 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The airline is expecting 5 more of the type soon, with 1 almost ready for delivery, according to AIB and planespotters.net data.
