AirFrance-KLM Group Orders 7 New Airbus A350s

PARIS/AMSTERDAM, 27 JAN | The AirFrance-KLM Group today has ordered 7 new Airbus A350 aircraft variants. 4 of the aircraft are Airbus's brand-new A350 Freighter, while the remaining few are the passenger Airbus A350-900s.

The A350Fs will be operated by KLM Cargo, based in Amsterdam's Schiphol airport. These aircraft are set to be delivered in 2026. While first mentioned in 2007, the A350F was launched in the 2021 Dubai Air Show, with Singapore Airlines Cargo set to be the launch customer in mid-2025. Air France also currently has A350Fs on order.

The 3 remaining Airbus A350-900 passenger aircraft will be operated by Air France from 2024 onwards, adding to their current fleet of 20 aircraft + 6 on order.
