Blown Tire: Air Canada Airbus A330's Tire Deflates During Landing.

Montreal, 26 December 2021 | According to a Twitter post by Mark Zilbert (@mzilbert) today, an Air Canada Airbus A330's tire blew upon landing in Montreal, Canada. This left the aircraft disabled on the runway, temporarily deffering flights. No injuries were reported and the aircraft has been safely removed. The aircraft involved in the incident is C-GFAF, a 22.6-year-old Airbus A330-300, delivered in January 2000. It was operating route AC901 from Fort Lauderdale to Montreal at the time.

The incident is likely due to a hard landing by the pilot. Anyway, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing!
