The End Is Near: Final Airbus A380 Performs Test Flight

Hamburg, 13 December 2021 | The final Airbus A380 to ever be built completes its test flight, bringing us one step closer to the end of the A380 line. The last A380 is set to be delivered later this month, marking the closure of the A380's production.

The final aircraft, known as A6-EVS or MSN 272, departed early in the morning on 13 December 2021 and landed after drawing a heart in the sky for all of the A380 fans!

The final A380 will be delivered in late December, bringing Emirate's A380 fleet up from 120 aircraft to 121.
