ITA Airways Announces New Dubai Route

ROME, 1 JUN | Italy's flag carrier- ITA Airways has announced a new route from Rome to Dubai as part of their expansion into the Middle East. This comes just after the airline recently announced new services to Riyadh, Jeddah and Kuwait City.

The new service will be operated by the airline's fleet of Airbus A321neos, featuring a lie-flat Business Class, from 27 October. Its predecessor, Alitalia, previously operated flights to Dubai but was terminated prior to entering administration.

The outbound service will depart Rome (FCO) at 1040 before arriving in Dubai (DXB) at 1950, later returning at 0150 and landing back into Rome (FCO) at 0600. ITA Airways will be directly competing against Middle East giant, Emirates, on the route.
