Startup FlyAtlantic Unveils Launch Plans

November 22, 2022

New startup airline, FlyAtlantic has finally unveiled its plans for its launch in 2024. This brand-new airline is set to begin transatlantic flights from its hub Belfast International Airport, alongside other services within Europe. This would make them the first carrier to launch transatlantic flights from Belfast.

At its launch in 1st Quarter 2024, the airline aims to have 6 aircraft, likely the Boeing 787, Boeing 737 MAX or the A321neo series and grow to 18 aircraft serving 35 destinations.

However, many people believe that this startup is destined to fail as Belfast lacks the demand and infrastructure to be a hub.
