Qantas Freight Performs A Domestic Ferry Flight In Singapore

Today, Qantas Freight operated a flight from Seletar Airport, in the North of Singapore to Changi International Airport, in the East of Singapore. This is one of the first times a non-private flight has operated on the route. Whilst it may not be a commercial flight, nor a fully-fledged cargo flight, it is still rather interesting to see.

The aircraft in question is VH-ULY, a 20.7-year-old Airbus A321-200 Freighter, originally delivered as a passenger aircraft in March of 2001. Since 16 May 2021, the aircraft has been stored at Seletar Airport for conversion into a freighter.

The aircraft is due to be delivered to Qantas Freight since its conversion. This flight was probably a test flight before the delivery flight over to Qantas Freight.

A few months back, I took a photo of the very jet in storage at Seletar Airport. The image of it shows below.
