MU5735 UPDATES | Blackbox Found at Crash Site

CHINA, 23 MARCH 2022 | On Monday, a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 operating MU5735 crashed after a nose-dive in Teng County, Wuzhou. Since then, new information has developed.

Chinese authorities have confirmed that one of the blackboxes (Cockpit voice recorder or flight data recorders) have been recovered from a forested area near the crash site.

The data recorder is now being processed by Chinese authorities and will likely inform us the cause of the incident and what was going on in the cockpit at the time.

However, there is some doubt that the data recorders will even work as the impact from the crash was very hard.

For now, we have to wait until the data is processed.
