Kuwait Airways Announces Barcelona and Washington Services

KUWAIT CITY, 11 AUG | Kuwait Airways has announced that it will begin direct services from Kuwait City to Barcelona (BCN) and Washington Dulles (IAD) later this year.

On 30 October, the airline will begin operations of their Kuwait City to Barcelona route 3x weekly with Airbus A320neo aircraft. The outbound service will depart KWI at 8am, arriving in BCN at 1.15pm. The inbound leg then departs BCN at 2.15pm, arriving back in Kuwait at 10.25pm. There is currently no operator on the route.

2 months later, the airline will begin their Kuwait City- Washington Dulles service on 15 December. The service will be operated 3x weekly with Airbus A330-800neo aircraft. This new route also makes it the world's longest A330-800neo route at 10,581km taking approximately 13 hours. KU115 departs KWI at 8am, arriving in IAD at 1.55pm. The inbound service then departs hours later at 4pm, arriving the following day at 1pm in Kuwait. There are also no other operators on this route.
