CAMBODIA, 18 MARCH | AirAsia- acclaimed as the World's Best Low Cost Carrier for 14 years running, has announced that its latest venture, AirAsia Cambodia (IATA code: KT) will commence operations on May 2nd this year. This comes as talks between Malaysian AirAsia and Sivali Asia, which began in 2017 materialised.
The new subsidiary is expected to begin services on May 2, 2024 between its bases in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap to Sihanoukville followed by Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore later this year.
Flight Schedule
The airline will begin its operations with a fleet of 2 Airbus A320-200 (CEO) aircraft, seating 180 passengers each and will eventually expand its fleet in due time.
